One thing I have that cannot be taught is the natural ability to create an enthusiastic and productive work environment. In my experience, “A” players don’t get out of bed just to go to work in a kitchen; they get out of bed because they are passionate about something. I give them something to be passionate about and we work together not just to serve great food, we work together to create raving fans and deliver an emotional brand experience. People may not always remember the details of their experience but they will always remember how you made them feel… and people return to where they feel good.
